ORTE Cornetto Chilli Peppers originate in Baia dell’Orte, where the Mediterranean sun and the sea breeze encourage slow ripening, developing intense aromas and a pleasantly spicy flavour. After drying, they are rehydrated and preserved in extra virgin olive oil with selected aromatic herbs, following Apulian tradition. Traditional processing preserves their authentic flavour and natural intensity. The result is a speciality full of character, ideal for enriching antipasti, pizza, pasta and a wide variety of Mediterranean dishes. A product that embodies the strength and distinctive character of Baia dell’Orte.
